This Policy explains what personal data we collect when you use revintrading.com (the “Service”), how we use and share it, and your rights.
1. Data we collect
- Account data — your email and authentication identifiers (via our auth provider, Supabase), and your record of accepting our Terms (the name you type to sign, plus the date and IP address of acceptance).
- Billing data — Credit-purchase records, balances, and a payment-provider reference. Payments are handled by Paddle; we do not store your full card number.
- Usage data — the configurations, symbols, and date ranges you run; run history; estimated and actual compute usage; product analytics/diagnostics.
- Technical data — IP address, browser/device type, log data, and cookies/local storage needed to sign you in and run the app.
- Communications — messages you send us.
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not access your exchange/brokerage accounts or your funds.
2. How we use data
To operate the Service (run your backtests/optimizations, save your setups), authenticate and secure accounts, process Credit purchases and meter usage, provide support, improve the Service and prevent abuse/fraud, comply with law, and send service-related messages. Marketing only where permitted, with an opt-out.
3. Legal bases (EEA/UK)
Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies: performance of a contract, legitimate interests (securing/improving the Service), consent (e.g., non-essential cookies/marketing), and legal obligation.
4. How we share data — subprocessors
We do not sell your data. We share it with vendors who process it on our behalf, under contract:

We may also disclose data to comply with law, enforce our Terms, protect rights and safety, or in a merger/sale.
5. International transfers
We and our subprocessors may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers from the EEA/UK rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).
6. Cookies
We use cookies/local storage that are strictly necessary to sign you in and operate the app. Blocking necessary cookies may break sign-in.
7. Retention & security
We keep personal data while your account is active and as needed for legitimate and legal purposes (e.g., tax records), then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable safeguards (access controls, encryption in transit, row-level security); no system is 100% secure.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict/object to processing, and to withdraw consent. California residents have CCPA/CPRA rights (we do not sell or share data for cross-context advertising). To exercise any right, email support@revintrading.com; EEA/UK users may also complain to a supervisory authority.
